Hannah Simmons, of Charlotte, NC, is a 1999 graduate of Marlboro Academy in Bennettsville, SC. During her Senior year of high school, she won the title of Miss South Carolina Teen USA. From there, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism from Winthrop University in 2004.

During her residency in Rock Hill, Hannah was a part of the construction of University Place Apartments while on staff with Environmental Land Augmentation. Giving back to the community and making a positive impact in the lives of others is something Hannah is passionate about. Hannah has participated in numerous fundraisers and philanthropies, including The Leukemia and Lymphoma Soceity’s Man & Woman of the Year, representing Michelle Soutier of Miller Street Dance Academy, and various events supporting Dancers Against Cancer. Hannah currently serves on the New Connections Committee at Charlotte Christian School, where she plays an active role in welcoming new and incoming students to the school’s community.

In addition, Hannah also serves on the Board of Directors for Greenwood Subdivision. When she has free time, she enjoys interior decorating, organizing, fitness, volunteering, watching her son play baseball, and her daughter dance and cheer. Hannah and her family attend Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC. Currently, Hannah resides with her husband, Will, and their two children, Hudson (14 years  old), Campbell (11 years old), and their dog, Ripken, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
