R. Warren Norman was born and raised in Rock Hill. He graduated from Northwestern High School and Presbyterian College with a Special Education Major degree. He then worked for 2 years for the University of North Carolina in their TEACCH program which is an Autism research program that works with people with Autism. Norman is currently Owner/Managing Partner at Warren Norman Co., Inc. During his time at Warren Norman Co,. Inc he was awarded the 2013 Rock Hill, SC Business Person of the Year. Some of the notable Commercial Developments including Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, Kohls, Hobby Lobby, Ashley Furniture, Red Bowl, Academy Sports, Sam’s Club, Buffalo Wild Wings, 5 Guys, Dicks, Fountain Park, Hickory Tavern, Firehouse Subs, Chipotle, Krispy Kreme, Storage deals, etc.

In 2008 and 2009 Warren wrote and published 2 children’s books called Baxter’s Bunch Series. Baxter’s Bunch Playhouse was created in 2011 around the central theme of the Children’s books. In 2014 he then wrote and produced the Baxter’s Bunch Pilot TV Show. His love of sports also helped him in coaching Middle School basketball at Westminster Catawba Christian School, the YMCA and church basketball.

Warren attends First ARP Church where is actively involved. He is an ICSC member and is also a member of Kiwanis Club of Rock Hill where he has served as president. He also served on the Knowledge Park Leadership Group and the Rock Hill Economic Board. He is currently a board member for the Rock Hill Sports Commission and serves on the South State Bank Regional Board. Warren also has a heart for the special needs community. He has served on the York County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs as well as the Served on York county Board of Disabilities Foundation…helping start the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Fundraiser. He is also one of the Founders and Lead on the Miracle Park Project in Rock Hill, which is a 12+ Million dollar park designed for the special needs population which is the first of its kind in the United States.

Warren and his wife Chrissi have three children, Ren and Walker who are both currently attending the Citadel and Riley who attends Northwestern High School.
